This book not only promises to help you lose weight, but treat and defeat heart disease. Rachelle's Rating and Response to the book:

- I enjoyed this book because it was easy to read , considering the fact it was written by a doctor, and included many healthy lifestyle and exercise tips.
- I disliked this book because the recipes were basic and  at times bland or tasteless. The diet was very one sided, as if those who wish to lose weight MUST choose a vegetarian diet.
-Overall, as a Holistic Nutritionist, I believe that a healthy diet should include minimal amounts of lean animal protein, and would not recommend this diet book to my clients who wish to lose weight. However, I would recommend this book to vegetarians who want some new recipes!
