This recipe is sure to be a hit for any family. With a Chinese inspired sauce, this dish is both tasteful and satisfying. It is low in fat and high in fibre!Keep in mind this recipe serves 2 adults. Orange Beef and Green Beans serves 2
1/2 pound boneless sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cups green beans, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon ground ginger
fresh ground pepper
3 tablespoons Bragg's low sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
In a large non-stick skillet heat oil on medium heat. Add beef and stir fry for 5 minutes or until brown. Add green beans, reduce heat and cover. Steam beans and cook until tender crisp. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients to create a sauce. Pour over beef and bean mixture. Cook 2 more minutes. Serve and enjoy this delicious dish for supper some night this week.
