Now that the Easter holidays are over it’s time to get serious about your weight loss again.......Right? I think the spring is the most motivating time of year to shed those extra fat pounds. Have you noticed that since the days have become longer (and warmer) you just feel better? Listen to your body and regain back your health!

In my busy nutritional consulting practice, Positive Change Nutrition I’ve noticed that this seems to be the week my former weight loss clients pick up the phone and book in for some more motivational sessions. Since I always encourage my clients to read my blog for motivation, this post in particular will help them (and you) to lose weight faster. Enjoy these simple dietary tricks you can easily incorporate into your daily routine.

Rachelle Wood’s Top 5 Calorie Cutting Tips

1-Eat until your 80% full.
2-Eat no starchs or grains with supper.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  3-Sauté vegetables in sauces, broths or juices.

4-Never eat 2 starches in the same meal.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      5-Write down all your food in a food log.

Remember, it’s the little things you do everyday that will influence your overall weight loss. By combining healthy portion controlled food and exercise into your daily routine, you will increase weight loss results! Buy a pedometer to track your daily steps, and write your foods down to control portions.  Always remember to plan your meals, and try skip out on the restaurant eating all together. When you’re on track, it’s not worth the extra calories.

If you lack dietary motivation, read my upcoming blog posts which will feature a new series titled, How Rachelle lost and kept off 100 pounds.
