This new way of thinking about food has created a society full of obesity, ill-health and disease. These days, most of my client’s family health histories include some link to cancer, diabetes and / or heart disease.
With the advancement of convience food trends like microwaved dinners and high sugar candy bars, this new way of eating is slowely killing us. Let’s think back for a minute to primitive times. Hunter gathers ate whatever they could find, and survived with what was available. Their bodies survived on minimal food intake, however the foods they ate were mostly raw in rich in nutrients.One of the easiest ways to heal your body is eat whole, live, natural foods.

-Fruits annd Vegetables- Are full of fibre, antioxidants, water and natural sugars. They were nature’s first food for controlling blood suagrs and hydrating your system. Nutritionally fruit contain pigments called flavanoids. Aim to eat as many fruits and vegetables you can each day. Try adding fresh fruit or vegetable juice to your daily routine.
-Nuts and Seeds- Packed with protein, most vitamin and minerals and essential fatty acids, nuts and seeds make the perfect snack. Nuts help to fight off hunger by being the right combination of protein, fat and fibre. Try addig nuts and seeds to salads or stir fry.
-Whole Grains- Are essential in everyones diet for many reasons. They provide healthy complex carbohydrates which assist in most bodily functions. A rich source of most vitamins and minerals, whole grains are another one of natures’ perfect foods. Whole grain means literally that all 3 parts of the grain are still present within the food. This especially encreases B vitamin and magnseium content of the food.
