Time for a little question period. How is your weight loss journey going? Is the weight coming off? Does the scale rule your life? You know they say the scale never lies, (not sure who "they" are) but I don't think I necessarily agree with that. My thought is, the scale may not tell the whole truth. You have lost some weight great, but how healthy are you, are you getting in shape. What have you learned about yourself? Do you see where I am going with this. If you put all your hopes and energy into whatever the scale says you maybe missing out.Weight loss is about the journey not about the destination.

You can lose the weight 100 times- i.e. Luther Van dross, do you remember him? Wonderful man, god rest his soul. He lost over 100 lbs 14 times. So to learn from him, if you ignore the journey and only focus on the end result, when you are losing weight, you will miss the lessons along the way. Like in school, you miss your lessons, then you will have to eventually, redo the lessons. Welcome to the world of yo-yo dieting. Not so fun. FYI, trust me, learn the lessons as soon as they present themselves. They are a gift?

If you can figure out what is really causing the weight gain in the first place, then you are on the road to recovery. Fail to take the time to look past the the donut you are eating, to Why you are eating that donut, and you missed the boat. Not to worry there will be an other proverbial donut coming along shortly, just to give you another shot at learning that lesson.

Here is some more food for thought, what are you really hungry for? Turns out that I don't have a "sweet tooth" so much as I have a need to please others. Frustrated about my lack of being able to "just say no" when people asked me to do something for them, I gained too many pounds to count. That lesson took me a lot of donuts. Now I realize, Iwas not gorging on donuts because I had a sweet tooth. All though I must say, it's easier to tell people that I am eating this 3rd donut in row, because I have a sweet tooth, as appose to saying I am eating that donut because I don't love myself enough to say no to you. Well, guess what world, the donut train stops here. "No I can't do that for you this weekend" I have plans. (See no donuts here). I stood up for myself and no donut was harmed. Lesson learned. NEXT....
