-Purchase treats you DON’T like
-Pass out treats you do like first
-Give any leftovers away that evening
-Pass out healthier treats this year
More families are choosing to pass out healthy Halloween treats. Some of my in office weight loss clients are choosing to pass out festive pencils, notepads, movie coupons, granola bars, juice packs and fruit snacks. By passing out these healthier treats you minimize your exposure to high caloric snacks which makes it easier to stay on track.
Not only is Halloween trempting, but the next day sales are even more. If at all possible this year on November 1st –STAY AWAY FROM STORES THAT SELL LEFTOVER HALLOWEEN CANDY. I find that the temptation is harder this day when most treats are half price.
